I was able to piece together 13 of 14 nights for our stay the end of July through early August.
I have had a waitlist for August 2 since September 2 and I have been stalking the website.

I was able to get other nights through stalking and waitlists just not August 2.
I am guessing I was picking up nights as walkers were dropping nights.

Just never dropped August 2, hoping someone drops it.

If not we will just a split stay 9 nights value, 1 night standard then back to 4 nights value.

It's just my wife and I on this trip

Hoping for the best and keeping positive vibes.

Keep stalking the site a couple times a day. You will probably be better at scopping up the stray night than waiting for waitlist to do so. I have seen random values pop up here and there, so you hopefully will be pleasantly surprised!

Congrats! That's an achievement given the scarcity of that type of room, and even more so since the refurbishment will be occurring then. You should buy a lotto ticket!
