AKL Jambo Grand Villa view question

We have rented points for a may/June stay in a grand villa. I have read a ton of recommendations for what savannah to request but by looking at the map, all the GV's are on the far ends and at the ends of the outside "spokes". I did read a review that the view for the one closest to the pool was not very good. I see most people recommend the Arusha but the GV's would only see the end of it so i didnt know if those would still be good. And what about the sunset savannah side? Does anyone have any recommendations?

We stayed in the GV and it was amazing! Have fun. That being said, I wouldn't look forward to getting a certain view. They are only requests that can make for a big disappointment. Put in for the view you want then forget about it and start looking at pictures of what you'll get inside the villa, get excited for the inside and hopefully you'll get a pleasant surprise with a good outside view too.

I did read a review that the view for the one closest to the pool was not very good.

Another reason to avoid the GV near the pool area is because it is handicapped accessible and has a roll-in shower in the master bathroom. I've read a review or two where a guest was disappointed in that GV for that reason.

For our Jambo GV stay we had one on the Sunset savannah and saw lots of animals. It looks across at Kidani and overall the view is fine. We were on the spoke closest to the lobby so you could also see and hear the resort HVAC systems (I assume) which are kind of between Jambo and Kidani but I'd be okay getting assigned that unit again.

Thank you for all your responses. We are really just super excited about our "splurge" and the fact that our kids don't know about it yet! I just need to focus on that and not worry about the views. Thanks again
