AKL-J 1 BR?

Could someone please tell me if the 1br at jambo house- standard view- could be a parking lot or other bad view? I don't want to use the points for SV but don't want cars/noise either. Pool view would be fine!

You are more likely to overlook a people pen or dirt pits near the building landscaping. Based on where the parking is at AKV-J, it's basically impossible to have a full parking lot view.

Well that view sounds bad too. Not pool views? Is there a map someplace or something I should request?

Most Jambo standard is pool view.
(It used to be exclusively pool view, but some former savanna view rooms were classified as standard)
No Jambo standard view is parking lot view.

I had one of the partial savanna view from a standard room and thought it was nice watching and hearing zebra and antelope munching grass.
(I don't fully understand the "people pit" complaints. DVC is on the 5th floor, so you basically have to be hanging over the balcony to have most of your view full of "people pits", it was easier to look forward and see animals....then again, Some people in BLT MK view rooms can only look at cars in parking lots)

As mentioned, no standard view overlooks the parking lot.

The "pool" views might really be more tree views than pool.

So you can more easily see the people pen, here's a couple pictures from our standard view studio that had the partial savannah view:

All standard view at Jambo are in lock-off units, so, yes.

Yes. The standard view 1BR's with partial savannah view would have similar types of views.

There is but it's just a request. I've requested pool view twice and have always ended up with the partial savannah view which has been perfectly fine too. DVC news has a couple of photos on their room finder of the standard villa pool view. You'll see that varies widely. Do a search on Jambo, standard view and I'd search for both studios and 1BR's to get the greatest variety of pictures of the views. Jambo has lock-offs so studios and 1BR's are side by side.
