AKL, (Inner or Outer Circle)

Plan on staying in Zebra trail. Does anyone have any preferences on inner or outer circle. Difference in visual preferences (what can you see)?

What view do you have booked? The Zebra trail has both savanna view and pool view rooms. Also, please do not "plan" on staying on the Zebra trail. You can request a certain trail but it is just that a request and depending on the view you booked you could end up on another trail. I hate to see people get their hopes up when whether you get your requests or not is luck of the draw at best.

If you have a "savanna" view booked then I would request a view of the "Arusha Savanna". The Arusha Savanna can been viewed on either the Zebra Trail or the Kudu Trail.

When you book a savanna view room you can end up on any one of the following trails; "Ostrich Trail", "Kudu Trail" or "Zebra Trail". Only the "Giraffe Trail" does not offer "savanna view" rooms.

I feel that the Arusha Savanna is the best as that is the only savanna with zebra and wilderbeast(sp?).

I would request a particular savanna instead of a trail. Of course you can request both but again there is a good chance that neither will be granted.

No matter which trail you are on I am sure you will have a great trip as the AKL is a great resort.

Sorry to say, but the Aruska Savannah is temp closed. They are doing some road work. they hope to have it done in the next week or so. We are going in 10 days and have been told that they will be working in each savannah, one at a time. They will be moving the animals to the areas that are open. If you have a savannah view you will be put in the area that is open.
