AKL Information Needed

Last year, my family and I were fortunate enough to stay twice at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Both times, it was wonderful. Much of the information that we gathered before our trips came from these bulletin boards.

Since that time, we have been asked a number of times about how to get specific information about the lodge. I usually end up giving them multiple URLs that have all have good information. But I have not been able to find a good "centralized" location for this information.

My wife and I would like to try to organize all of this information that the "AKL Fans" out there have, so that we all could have easy access to it.

If we get enough information, then we will build a website and make it available for everyone. Just so you know, we have no plans to attempt to make any money off of this...it is just for everyone to enjoy.

Therefore, if you have any information that you would like to share, I would appreciate receiving it.

Some of the information that would be nice would be:

• Type of room (standard, savannah, deluxe, concierge, etc).
• Type of view from the porch.
• Room configuration (2 queens, 1 king and bunks, etc).
• Comments about the room (likes or dislikes).
• Month and year of your stay.
• Any other comments about the lodge in general.

Also, if you have any pictures that you would like to share, that would be nice. I would be interested in pictures of the lodge...not necessarily pictures of "my kids in front of a zebra".

As I said, if we receive enough information, we will try to assemble it into a website that everyone will enjoy. I will also try to make every effort to give credit for infomation and pictures to all that share.

i think that is a great idea.i am sure there us alot of people who will help you on this.unfortunately i have never stayed at AKL,but we do plan to.
