AKL Honeymoon Room Location Requests?

Hey Disboard frequenters! My husband and I are trying to decide where we should request to be at the AKL. We have a standard Savannah room and know we want a view of the Arusha savannah (We like Zebras) but we don't know what trail to request, how far down that trail to request, or what floor we should reqeuest. We don't mind long walks at all, and want the best view of the zebras and giraffes that we can get. We also have heard a few horror stories about getting stuck right next to air conditioner fans, etc. and want to avoid noisy locations like that. Does anyone have any room number recommendations or just general ones? Anything is appreciated b/c were trying to make this honeymoon trip very magical! Thanks so much in advance! You guys and gals are always so helpful!!!

My daughter is also going to ALK for her honeymoon in May and she was wondering the same thing, so I will just wait and see if anyone answers your originnal thread. Good Luck and Congradulations!!!!

We were at AKL in Feb. and had a room that was half way down the Kudu Trail and had great views of the zebra. Although the animals wandered around a lot they tended to eat in the same spots. The zebras seemed to eat near the kudu trail and the giraffes closer to the zebra trail. For convienence to the pool and Mara the Zebra trail is nice. If you look at a map there is an elevator mid way down the trail that takes you down to the pool/Mara area.
