AKL has no more discounted rooms available for my dates (m)

We are staying at AKL on Dec 6-8. My parents wanted to go as well but were unable to get a room with the discount code. Is it possible that they will release more rooms at a later date? We even tried through Expedia. Even though the dates were listed, it kept saying unable to make reservation. For now they booked at the All Star Music. Will they be able to take the bus to the AKL so we can all have breakfast and go to the parks together? Do you think we should keep trying? They really cant afford to stay without a discount. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If have not already done this, try going to www.Mousesavers.com. They have multiple discount codes. You might find one that will make your room cheaper. Try calling back a few times. I have found that there are CM that are helpfull nad there are ones that could care less.

talk to the cm and give them an idea of what happened and what are your options maybe with some pixie dust you will be offered somewhere where you both can stay for a reasonable price? That you will both be happy with? I would think instead of losing 2 families unhappy they should try to work and make you all happy! December is a slow time and should be open somewhere! (aren't all those cheerleader types at the all-stars?)

Might look into dreamsunlimited? I think they keep rooms too? I haven't used them but it might be worth a try!

We were going to stay that same weekend as well but were told our options with that code were the All-Stars or Coronado Springs, so we chaged our dates and are now staying Dec 11-15... Perhaps they could book a room at Coronado Springs????

It will be time consuming for them to get from the AS to the AKL in the morning. There is no direct bus, and they might not be able to take WDW transport at all depending on how early you're talking.

Worst case scenario you could always switch resorts as well...

They might release more discounted rooms, but generally they don't.

I think they announced yet another new code within the last few days (?) and if your original code is sold out, the new code may have open rooms. I would check mousesavers.com and see...

Why don't you try calling 1-800-EXPEDIA and booking your room if you can't book it on their site?
