AKL did a great thing!

My parents checked into AKL this morning following a stay at POFQ. Anyway, my niece (their granddaughter) became dangerously sick this morning and had to be hospitalized. AKL refunded their money for tonight and gave them a credit for AKL for the other night they had booked. The hotel was very kind and understanding about the situation.

She's having a complication with a chronic illness. She'll probably be in ICU for a few days. She has improved somewhat, though.

I'm sorry she didn't get the time in WDW that your aunt and uncle had hoped . I hope she gets better soon. And ... I am glad that AKL refunded some of their money.

We had to postpone due to my father's heart attack (the day before we were arriving) and Disney was WONDERFUL! Cxld room w/no penalty, and Hoop-Dee-Doo (less than 24 hrs notice), and even called back to make sure it wasn't a prank.

Also cxld all our PSs without me having to go thru the list.

And then said they hoped he'd be well!

He was, and I hope your niece will be, too.
