We are staying at AKL in June. There are 3 adults and 2 children in our party.

Right now I have 2 queen beds requested, however my girls would like bunkbeds. If we chose a bunkbed room, my MIL would have to sleep in the daybed.

Is the daybed large enough for an adult, my MIL is about 5'7".

Thanks,

Teresa

We stayed at the AKL in December with three adults and one child (me, my wife, my son (7), daughter (3), and my father). We had connecting rooms (one with a queen, bunks and a daybed and one with two queens. The daybed is large enough to sleep on.

We would have probably been ok with the one room with the queen, bunks, and daybed, but the 2nd room is really nice for the extra bathroom and it is also nice to have the extra space in case kids (or adults) want to take a nap. We have stayed at the contemporary before with the same group and people and had two queens and a daybed, which was enough sleeping room, but got a little cramped after a couple of days.

Have fun!!!!

The Daybed is a very nice daybed and will sleep an adult. The only rooms that have the configuration of one queen, bunk beds and a daybed are the deluxe rooms.

Hi Tampafan,

Thanks for the information about the daybed.

I am concerned about being cramped in the one room. Luckily, it's only for the last 3 days of our vacation, so hopefully we can manage! Additionally, 2 Concierge rooms would cost us $780 a night. OUCH! This is more than we are willing and able to pay!

Thanks again!

Teresa
