AKL Concierge ???

I have a savannah veiw booked for 7 nites, annual passholder rate for $199.00 10/24-10-31. I called to see about concierge...I can only get 10/26-10/31 at a cost of $277.00 per nite (it is on hold), requesting savannah view...My PSs etc are all made so I do not need that service. I called in regards to Sunrise Safari, I do not know if it available yet, I left a message. I do have a few questions.....

Would it be worth it to upgrade for the last 5 nites (2 nites savannah, 5 nites concierge) ?

I requested a savannah view & I would only want a savannah view or I would have a very disappointted 7 yr old...what are my chances? Has anyone requested savannah and only gotten pool?

Any other insight to "sell" me on upgrading for the $78.00 per nite? Is it worth it?

You could always keep your original room and just add access to the lounge on your key.

I have never stayed on the 6th floor... I have stayed on the 5th floor twice and used my key to access 6.

Yes, it is worth it to upgrade to concierge... the lounge is a wonderful space to enjoy. Breakfast is very good, drinks all day, hot and cold appetizers in the afternoon with wine, desserts and cordials in the evening.

You may not be around every day for all these services, but when you happen to be... it's great.

Sunrise Safari.. also worth the extra cost - a very special experience for a select few.

To answer your question I have never heard of anyone being assigned a 6th floor poolview when they wanted a savana view.

If you choose not to stay in your original savanna room and switch to a designated concierge room.. you will most likely be on the 5th floor just off the lobby with a Arusha Savanna view.
