AKL Concierge What can you tell me??

DH and i just returned with our kids from a famliy reunion at WDW and now we are thinking of doing a trip just the 2 of us. We rented points and stayed at AKL in a value 1 bdrm and we loved it.
Now we are thinking that maybe we would rent points to stay Concierge level but do DVC get the same things like nightly turn down ect..
Are there other resorts that you would suggest for a VERY late Honymoon. TIA

CL level at AKV is limited to five 2 bedroom lock off units on the 6th floor on either side of the lobby area of Jambo. You need to book it at right at 9 AM at the 11 month window. There are 3 lock offs on the savanna side and 2 on the pool view side. You can request, but it is NOT guaranteed. The roof hangs out over your balcony. We think the roof is a neat feature, but it does inhibit your view greatly. Also if you happen to get the savannah view, both Handicapped Accessible units are on that side, so your chances of getting HA are greater with that view. Frankly, we have stayed on both CL views, and we actually prefer the pool view. There are plenty of other areas at the resort to get better views of the animals than you will from a savannah CL room.

Sunrise safari when we did it was $60, I think. IT was marvelous, and we had the animal curator from AKL as our guide. He was amazing! The breakfast was great too. We also got a sizeable discount on the Wanyama (sunset) safari at the lodge when we stayed CL. Someone said they thought it was now the same price for everyone, but I haven't confirmed that.

Extras for CL rooms are daiy maid service, turn down service with a chocolate on your pillow, concierge booking service,daily newspaper, breakfast and snacks available throughout the day and a dessert offering at night. Coffee, tea, milk, soft drinks, beer etc are available as much as you want any time.

WOW thank you for all the info just what i wanted to know. And as far as the pool view im with you on that we just got back from a trip 5 day stay at AKL and we had a value 1 bdrm and a pool view and i LOVED it so much that we are planing a adult trip with my DS and DBL who did have a 2 bdrm value Savann view and she liked my view better so we dont care so much about that as long as its not parking lot.
