AKL Concierge Upgrade?

When I called to book our room there were no concierge rooms left at AKL for our dates. I really want to try out AKL CL.

What are the chances of getting a pay-for upgrade at check-in?

Has anyone ever done this? How did it go?

Also, it is DD's secod birthday the day after we arrive at AKL should I call CRO and have them make a note of it on our reservation?

If they are sold out this close, I would say your chances are slim to none. Sorry. I'm sure you'll love the AKL anyhow!

Were you asking for a special rate for AKL...it could be available at regular rate or a different rate.

When you made your reservation for AKL..you should have had the reservationist note the birthday then.
