Hi-

We are staying at AKL for 2 nights before switching to BWV. Our waitlist just came through for the concierge level. Currently we are scheduled for the QSDP. Now that we have access to the lounge, would you cancel the DP?

We are planning on staying at the resort until dinner time the first day. The second day we are going to AK until about 1:00 and then back to the resort.

We will probably eat at DTD that night.

Thanks for your help.

:)I would cancel it. With counter or quick service you can usually split the meals as the portions are plentiful. In fact my MIL and I have done that a bit or I have given extra food on my plate to DH, becasue he liked it more or it was just too much. I think you will be fine without it. Or you going to be picking up any groceries? The is a Plublix close by and you might could get a taxi there. Since our first trip last year DH and I are looking forward to driving down (approx 9 hours) and getting a few groceries. I think it will fit into our usually pattern and we will get a TIW card with out AP instead of the DDP this year and use the fridge. We are stying in a studio, so it won't be much.

I would keep the QSDP.

The food offerings in the lounge are limited and are meant to provide a tasting, not a meal. On a couple of occasions, we skipped the lounge due to the line of people foraging for food.

Remember your credits are good until midnight of your check out day so you can still use the credits when you move to BWV.

I would cancel it, since you get breakfast, snacks, coffee. I remember there was yogurt, fruit. I think the QSDP together with what you get in Concierge would be too much.

I'd keep it. As was mentioned, the food in the lounge is extremely limited and it's almost the same every evening- cheese, hummus, veggies, and two teeny appetizers. There is wine and beer. Later in the evening, if they're not all gone, there will be cookies and possibly little 1" tarts. While "breakfast" is quite nice if you don't want hot foods (other than oatmeal), the rest of the food would not be considered a meal. It really is for an appetizer or appetite-quenching bite before a meal. With QSDP you'll get a mug you can also use at BWV's, two snacks which you can save, and then two counter service meals which could be your dinner and lunch, or with the saved credits you could stock up your fridge on the day you change resorts. I think the value is still there. If you don't want to use it at AKL, why not just purchase it for your stay at BWV's?---Kathy

I do have the QSDP at BWV for the remaining 4 nights. I'm wondering if I should just cancel that one and use the remaining credits for the day I check out.

We have a CL stay scheduled next month. We have stayed before and used both the Qsdp and ddp.
I liked having the ddp with CL. Cl worked well for drinks and snacks, appetizers and breakfast but did not replace meals. CL and sit down worked great.
My plan next month is to use my gift cards to cover any meals and not get a dining plan. We don't have alot of sit downs planned and I will just let the boys charge at will and see if we come out better than $90 a day the qsdp would cost or $120 for the Ddp.
We also have a split stay so will get the qsdpwhen we don't have CL access

if you do qsdp you will get mugs at both resorts which to me is overkill during the same stay.

I would definitely cancel it. We find the DDP isn't a good value for us on a regular stay, and it would be even less for a CL stay. We always take advantage of the breakfast at CL, and like that we can grab a snack or dessert or something to drink all day.
