AKL Club or Poly Garden view

If you've done both, which would pick? There is very little price difference.

I have done Poly GV and it was ok but the noise level around the pools and main building was nuts so I dont think I would go back there anytime soon.

We are booked for the AKL club level in Oct because the price was super cheap with the 40% discount postcard we received...so looking forward to this stay and the morning safari....

i've done neither, but I'd have to go wtih AKL if only for the opportunity to do the sunrise safari.

Definitely AKL CLUB LEVEL over Poly garden!! We were booked for AKL club level and cancelled to book garden at Poly because we were always going back and forth between the Poly and AKL. Once we were booked at Poly, we immediately wanted the AKL back. The more I researched even more about the Poly being noisy, overcrowded, separate longhouses making it more spread out versus AKL being all in 1 building. While the volcano pool looked cool, it just didn't look big enough for the size of resort in my opinion. Plus, with the CLUB LEVEL you are getting the different food offerings in the lounge and most importantly the opportunity to book the sunrise safari which we did!! The fact that you have the animals around and in view from your balcony is just priceless to me and I can't wait to experience it! The Itinerary Planning Service at AKL is just absolutely WONDERFUL They had a little rough spell with getting some extra help because they were kind of backlogged but they now have more people and anything I've needed, they've hopped right on it GO AKL CLUB 4 SURE You won't regret it

I have stayed at AKL CL and Poly GV and I love them both.I think that AKL conceirge (standard) is the best value for CL. I think they have great offerings in the CL and you are able to book the sunrise and sunset safaris and the Wildlfe Discovery Tour which I really enjoyed. They also have 2 of the best restaurants at WDW in Jiko and Boma.I do really love the Poly ,I fell in love with the room from the moment I saw it, and you can't beat being on the monorail.The only thing I don't like about the Poly is the individual longhouses, I have a bad sense of direction and at night I had a hard time finding my longhouse.I don't think you can you can go wrong with either resort I love them both!!!!!!

AKL definately. I found Poly to be rather dull. Nice location but that's about it. AKL is just so different and there is so much more to do there. Club level is nice because you get all the club level amentities but also the Sunrise Safari.

Guess I'm the lone Poly. vote. Location, location, location. AKL makes me feel like I'm miles away from the Castle.

This is funny, because my last trip was a split stay, and I stayed Poly Garden view, then went to AKL club! I only went to AKL because I wanted to do the Sunrise Safari, but I was surprised at how much I liked the resort.

I don't find Club level to be worth the extra money. The lounge wasn't located on the same floor, so it wasn't convenient. We hung out there when waiting for our room, and didn't go back, except to meet up for the safari. I just don't get what's so great about club level. If you are interested in the safari, go for it, but otherwise, save your money and buy your own snacks.

The Poly is a much smaller resort, and as I trudged the extensive hallways at AKL, I found myself missing the intimacy of the Poly. The Poly also has a location advantage. Many dining options are just a monorail hop away at the GF and CR. The AKL is rather isolated.

So, I chose Poly. But I really don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

I haven't done concierge level at AKL, but I have stayed there in a savannah view room. We *have* stayed at all levels of the Poly, including LVC, so I'm familiar with what concierge offers.

That being said, I'd pick the Poly every time. The rooms are so much larger, and the grounds are so beautiful. There really isn't anywhere to walk around at AKL (unless you count those hallways, LOL!), and I missed that when we were there.

Plus at the Poly you have the monorail, the ELP, Wishes from the beach, etc. etc.
