AKL - Can I Buy Bread/Donuts/English Muffins???

Do they sell loaves of bread, packages of pastries, English muffins, bagels, quarts of milk, etc anywhere at the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

I know they sell them at some of the resorts, I'd be willing to go get them elsewhere, but I'm wondering if they are available at AKL. Just trying to find larger quanitity items so my little guy can have a quick snack or breakfast if he's hungry at the hotel - sometimes he's not hungry at mealtimes and won't eat, but then he wants something later... aaarrrrgghhhh!!!

They do have a limited selection in the Zawadi Marketplace gift shop. You can get milk, doughnuts, some pastries. They're the prepackaged Hostess type. I don't recall them having bagels or english muffins though.

We did find enough to have a quick "continental breakfast" though.

FYI: The food is in the far back let side of the shop. Prices are "Disney high".

You can buy all of that at the Mara (AKL's counter service place). They have a nice selection of bagels, donuts, muffins, etc., as well as juices, milk. As SeattleMark says, it's pricey, but very convenient if your little guy's looking for a pop tart (which they also sell! LOL!) or something.

Thanks so much... good to know I can buy in "bulk"!!! hehehe I was hoping to be able to have supplies on hand in the room rather than buying singles or having to run out for something at the last minute for him when he's hungry.

Just thinking out loud here.. How are you getting to the Resort.. Are you renting a car or taking a town car in because some of the town car companies will stop so that you can do a grocery run real quick so that you are not paying resort prices for the items you want..
