AKL Bus service

Is there a bus from AKL to the Boardwalk? Does it run all day or in the evening? Thank you.

No, there is not. You will have to transfer at a Theme Park to get there...most people do it at MGM Studios. A lot will transfer at Epcot. But, every shuttle runs about every 20 minutes.

The best transfer point would be the Disney-MGM Studios. Epcot would not be a good choice, because you'd have to walk through the park.

Thank you. We have been staying in the EPCOT area for years and everything is so convenient. The bus to MGM sounds like it is the way to go. And, after hours, I would take the bus to Downtown Disney then to the resort.

Last Dec when we stayed at AKL we went to the Board Walk by taking the bus to MGM and the boat to the Board Walk it didn't take long at all and the boat was a nice change. When we left we actually took the bus to MK since it was still open do to MVMCP and came back that way which was better than DTD. You can catch a taxi right outside of the hotels in that area back to AKL and I belive it was around $15 one way they told us.
