AKL bus information

I am going to be staying at the AKL for the first time and iwas wondering the average time it takes to get to the MK. We have an early meeting in the castle with the princesses! Does the bus make other stops on the way? We do not want to be late and I was wondering how much time should I allow?

It takes about 20 - 30 minutes from when you step foot on the bus to the MK. And it doesn't make any other stops between the AKL and the MK.

Funny story: We had to get to the MK for dinner at CRT. My daughter was dressed up in her Cinderella costume and the bus driver had the broadcast system inform everyone on board to be on their best behavior because a 'Princess' was on board. Talk about magical!

I swear we made it to the MK in like 15 minutes.

When we stayed at AKL in March 2007, I timed the bus to MK (specifically because people comment so frequently about how long it takes to get everywhere from AKL). It took us 12 minutes from the moment the driver pulled away from the bus stop to pull into the stop at MK. There was nothing special about our bus, and it wasn't just one time we arrived in this amount of time. To get to EPCOT or the Studios took 15 to 20 minutes. About the longest trip is from AKL to DTD...that's just over 30 minutes. So I didn't see the problem
Maybe people who love staying at AKL want to make it less appealing to people so they can have the resort to themselves (?)

We just stayed at the CR and are going back to the AKL. While the walk to the MK had to be faster (than the bus from AKL to the MK) the monorail to EPCOT was, it seems, at least 10 to 15 minutes by the time you transferred at TTC. . . .

At least, that is what I'm rationalizing because I want to enjoy the AKL. I sure would appreciate seeing actual times. . . then again, maybe not.
