AKL - Best rate (with any code or ap) anyone has gotten lately (value season only)

Hi everyone,

Trying to go back this summer.

Q - what is the best rate anyone has gotten say within the last three summers (value season) at AKL - either with code or card pin or ap.

Basically what is the absolute best rate anyone has booked during the summer at AKL ????

Can't help with summer, but Jan is value too and I booked AKL standard for 194 including tax with AAA. Hope this helps a little

Thanks, I think that is just about the same for the AAA rate for July also.

Has any one else gone to AKL during summer on a great rate?

We had a code two years ago and got a standard room for $149 with tax. I called the day it was announced. Funny story....I had called to see if Coronodo was available with that code and they said no, but AKL was and since the rate was so good, we took it and had a fabulous deluxe stay, which uless codes come out like that again, we will never be able to afford!

This may be useless info for you depending on your dates and length of stay, but I bought an AP and booked a std room at AKL for $121.54 per night including tax. My nights are 1/21 - 1/29. This beat my previous AAA code by about $400 even factoring in the extra cost of the AP. Makes me feel like doing this banana's dance.

I also got AKL today for $109 plus tax for the end of January using the AP rate.

I don't know if Camping was in on the discussion, but this exact topic was discussed a few days ago........ with all the news about the codes coming out, we were trying to figure out the best deal. For us, if we had purchased the AP, which we considered doing, since right now with an AP you can get AKL for $109.00+tax=$121. (as you know) we thought, WOW, what a great deal, but then we had to factor in that we couldn't get dining, so even though it would've saved us about $100.00........ we just didn't want to give up the dining plan -- it will save us a lot on "this" trip, plus, there is no guarantee we'd go again before the AP expired. I do agree with you though, for anyone not wanting the dining plan............. the AP is the best way to go......... that rate for AKL is an awesome one!!! Glad you were able to get it! Have fun on your trip.

You are awfully nice to help me, but the AP's just won't work for us this time. We used to have them and did love them though! Enjoy your stay!

Wow, that AP rate is wonderful. Only have to get 1 ap to get the rate and every one else gets MYW 10 day tickets. Great rate!

About the dining plan.....not easy to part with....it includes tax and grat. right?

I'm not much of a "figures" person but I wonder how it changes things to purchase the Dining Card available for $50 with the annual pass to get 20% off dining...... probably just about covers gratuities and possibly the $50 to buy the Card. So much to think about

Wonder if there is any chance of a "regular" code becomming available for a MYW package (including dining) That would be ideal!!

Who knows --- hard to figure.

I want to say $135 with an AP discount for standardview and $185 for savanna view when we stayed last summer. We've actually gotten better rates during busier times of the year!!
