AKL bathtub question

We're staying in the Kidani standard studios. I haven't been able to find any really good pictures of the bathtub. This might seem like a silly question, but are the tubs deep enough for a really great bath to be had by an adult?

I've seen some pics of the higher end rooms that I envy. But that's not the room I have. I'm not holding out much hope for our Mermaid room at AoA or our ASMovie room. But any news on those would be good too.

I haven't taken a bath in years as my tub at home is so tiny and always has toys in it. I need this.

I can't answer for certain, but to me (I'm 5'7") most regular hotel tubs aren't the best for soaking! I know the one bedroom villas have the larger tubs, but the studio may be the same size as a regular hotel room's tub/shower.

After a long day, maybe the hot tub would be a nice option for soaking sore muscles?

It's just a regular tub like you have at home. The only exception to that with the Disney resorts are the specialty suites the 1- and 2-bedroom villas and the grand villas, which have oversized tubs with jets. When you check in, you could always ask to see if there's availability in a bigger villa and what it would cost to upgrade your room if the tub is important to you. Otherwise, I agree: The hot tub at the pool is an excellent alternative.

Studios do not have jetted tubs. So you'll just have a standard bathtub with a shower.

Darn, I was forbidden from viewing the picture! Ah well, I'm gathering that I will have to content myself with a communal dip in the hot tubs. I'm looking forward to long soaks in warm water up to my neck, just not with a group.

FYI, while we aren't fans of Kidani (the layout blows), we still daydream about the master bath in the one bedrooms there.I could vacation in that shower alone!

Well bummer on that. We are definitely in the studios...with the bath/shower combo. Yeah, I made a mistake of looking at pictures and saw that bathtub you were talking about. It just made me irritated with my room which just shouldn't happen. It's AKL, it will be awesome regardless right? Upside tho, I don't have to think about all that water I'd be using so, silver lining. Mur.

I'm not sure why you are irritated with your room. You are getting what you are paying for. If a soaker tub is important to you, you could have booked a Villa that included one. That was your choice
