AKL activities

Does anyone know what activities are available at AKL, specifically for children? I read somewhere that a "story time" is held daily. Anyone know details (time, etc.)? Thanks!!!

Hi there...

There is cookie decorating every day at 1:00pm in Boma, there are afternoon crafts/activities by the pool.. you will get the list of times etc.. when you check in.

There are pelican feedings, flamingo feedings, night vision viewing and the storytelling is at 7:30 at the fire pit every night.

Childrens' Arts and Crafts: Thurs ($5) Meet by kiddie pool ~2:15pm*
African Rag Doll Making: Fridays ($10); Meet by kiddie pool ~2:15pm*
Junior Researcher: By Flamingo pond at pool ~ 3pm
Culinary Tour of Africa: Ogun's Firepit ~ 4pm
The Music of the Savanna: Lobby~ 5pm
African Games and Crafts: Uzima Pool Deck ~ 4:30pm

We really enjoyed these activities during our vacation. We stayed at AKL at the end of a longer stay and this was a vacation in itself! We had a hard time leaving to go to the parks.

Johnsonet - How did you get the list of Septembers activities? We are going in October and would love to have the schedule.

I requested a list from the concierge staff for my oct. trip. she faxed me the sept. schedule -didn't have oct.'s yet
