AKl- 5 people and tips...

I just switched to AKL from CSR, it will be my first time there. My SIL may join me with her 2kids. I assumed, i know, I know, I could get a cot or something for the 5th person, but now I am reading on here, that's not an option. She may not even join me, but I wanted her to be able to.....
Also any tips for a newbie to AKL?

If one of the kids is under three years of age, then you'd be a party of four. The occupancy under the fire code for standard AKL rooms is four persons plus 1 under the age of 3.

If everyone in the group is over three years old, then they will not allow you to book a standard room at AKL. You'd need to get at least a 1-bedroom villa over at Kidani village.

Just wanted to add that in addition to the Kidani 1 brs, some of the 1br villas at Jambo house also allow 5 people. The value villas only allow 4, but the others allow 5. Many of the other deluxe resorts allow 5 per standard hotel room and it would probably be cheaper to switch to another deluxe than to upgrade to a 1br villa.
