Ok so I am switching from the value 2 bedroom I have at Jambo to a standard 2 bedroom. I can't decide between Kidani and Jambo I know the difference such as the extra bathroom, and extra square footage in Kidani. But from someone who has stayed is the jambo one lacking the extra space. Is the living room, kitchen, bedroom smaller? I am just wondering where I will be giving up that space if I go with Jambo

The bathroom set up is different in Jambo. The main bath is across a hall from the master bedroom. That hall ends in the washing macine/dryer area and begins next to the kitchen. There is no separate shower in the master bath, either. The jacuzzi/tub/shower is all the one unit. I know that if I ever want a standard 1 or 2 bedroom, I would pick Kidani over Jambo.

Another vote for Kidani. We did not like the bathroom set up at JH. Also, the JH living room area seemed much smaller than the living area at Kidani.

All two bedrooms at JH are lockoffs. You can get a dedicated two bedroom at KV.

I'd ask for a two bedroom dedicated at the Kidani Village, simply because there is that extra bathroom, the extra closet, and the pool is lovely as well.

And there are two beds in the second bedroom - only one sleeper sofa and one sleeper chair. A lock off has a double sized sleeper sofa in the second bedroom instead of a second queen sized bed.

I don't have any information about Jambo, but we stayed in a two bedroom at Kidani and had a wonderful time. The accomodations are huge, much larger than even the GCV's we were in a couple of weeks ago. We did not use the third bathroom very much, but it was nice to have and it is large as well. Plus, we loved the pool area. It seemed more quiet than the Jambo location, but that just could have been our timing.

I forgot about that part--thanks for the heads up--we're getting ready to make a new reservation so I appreciate it! :thumbsup2

All parts of the Jambo 2BR will be smaller than the Kidani 2BR. The Jambo room is close in size, about 1070 sq ft, to 2BRs at BCV, VWL, BWV, and SSR. The Kidani 2BR is about 100 sq ft larger with the living room being significantly larger and the bedrooms somewhat larger. The master bath at Jambo has a combined tub/shower and it is a large step over to get into the tub, Kidani has the separate tub and shower. It has the extra bathroom and you can get dedicated 2BRs with the second bed rather than a couch bed in the second bedroom. Kidani also has more closet space and the master bedroom closet is an attached to the wall unit while at Jambo it is a free standing closet that takes up too much room in the master bedroom.

I am one those who believe the Jambo pool is better (lots more shady areas for adults), as is having the three restaurants and the larger lobby and store, but if I am getting a 1BR or 2BR there Kidani wins every time.
