Akershus?

This is probably going to sound like a really silly question, but, what is the correct way to pronounce Akershus?

I'll try to post it phonetically...
Akershus would be pronounced Ock - er - shoes (with the s at the end of shoes being pronounced as an s and not as a z as when normally saying shoes). The emphasis is on the first syllalble.
