Has any one eaten here? This is where we go our thanksgiving day ressi for grand gathering party of 9. Also is photo pass people at all character dining?

I haven't eaten at Akershus since they added the princess meal, but it was one of my favorite places at EPCOT. We really liked the food (the meatballs - yum!) and the fact that it was unique (where else in Florida were we going to be ale to try Norwegian food??)

Lik OP we haven't eaten there since the change. The food was good, but it was salty and there was a lot of smoked meat. DW wasn't fond of it. I thought it was good.

We took a grand gathering of 14 to eat here in dec 06. I liked it but if you have a picky eater their choices will be limited. Lots of smoked meat and fish. I like different food but others in my party did not!

We ate here this past June and we really liked it.

It was me, DH, DD(5), DS(1), SIL, MIL and neice(7). Everyone, even the kids, enjoyed their meals.

DH and I chose the Traditional Kjottkaker - it was YUMMO!! It is like a hamburger steak but with more rich flavor.

SIL and MIL got the Salmon and said it was some of the best they've had.

Kids enjoyed the grilled chicken (very moist and tasty) and salmon.

I saw one table order the pasta and it looked soooooooooo good.

They have a good variety of items on the "starter" buffet. Really good cheeses and breads!!!

We have an ADR here again for our upcoming December trip.

Not sure about the photopass people. The kids did get a picture when we arrived with Belle (had to pay extra). All the princesses came by the table. They lingered long enough for several pics. Even DS was in the pic with Jasmine (I think he took a liking to her )
