Akershus (sp??) Bk or Din?

Do you prefer Akershaus Royal Banq for breakfast or dinner???? Why???

we enjoy Breakfast. It gets you in the park so that when the park opens you can get to Soarin early. Its also a little cheaper.

DD#3's favorite princess is Ariel so we prefer lunch or dinner. We have eaten breakfast at Akershus several times and it's not one of our favorites. For us, the food is ok, the service is not so great and the character experience is a little hectic.

We have only eaten Breakfast there, in fact it is our family tradition to have breakfast before the park opens on our first full day. We love everything about this breakfast....we love the Princess interaction, the food (especially the cheesy potatoes), and the service.

Are there different princesses for breakfast than there are for dinner?

The princesses change. I don't know if it's seasonally or based on what princess can be there on a certain day with their hectic schedules attending balls and visiting their kingdom's.

I know last year when we went Ariel was there for breakfast, but no Cinderella. Based on what I've seen from others, Cinderella and Ariel were there for breakfast recently.

Food at breakfast is not great for the price, we stuffed ourselves on yummy berries from the buffet because the hot food was less than stellar, especially for the price. Heard another review recently of Akershus that ripped the food too, but to each their own, everyone has different likes and dislikes

DD loved the experience, but I wouldn't do breakfast there unless it's before park opening and I could get the double value of no wait time for princesses and not spending valuable park time (our stays are always short). If time in the parks isn't as valuable to you, I would try the lunch or dinner. Hope that helps.

Overall, we think all character breakfast are over priced - for waffles and egg.

I would go lunch or dinner. Still overpriced, but doesn't make us feel as bad.

We went for lunch and it was amazing. The food - great. The princesses - perfect. Our son, 4 at the time, got the royal treatment. It was an unforgetable experience.
