Princess Storybook Breakfast, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Norway.... Just booked this for April 2010, never done this before but have been to CRT, how is it?

Really good.

Belle was there for photos in her yellow gown. You get the photos as part of the meal.

There is a cold buffet with fruit, yogurt, salmon, etc. and a skillet arrives at the table with hot food (bacon, sausage, eggs and potatoe casserole).

Didn't feel rushed like we did at CRT.

Thats good to know, I hve read many things about the dinner meal and that put me off..... I really hope that the Breakfast will be good:)

How long does it take? We have 8:05 ADR's and I'd really like to be finished by 9:00 when the park opens...

We loved it. Thought the food was great. We were one of the first seated and we were right by where the princesses came out. The photo with Belle turned out great. We will be going back next year. I think that were were done in under an hour.

Love it!. The breakfast is a must for us each trip. You have an early ADR so there's a good chance you'll be done by 9 am.

You can get free pancakes if you ask for them. They will not offer.. :) But picky little princess love them!

I don't love the food there, but with the pancakes, the princesses, and the "free" (not sure that is the right word since it is a table service but..) picture it is a must do every time!

The food was Okay, nothing great. But the Princesses were there and that made my little girl flip out. Belle of course was the included with package photo. In addition to her we saw, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty , Ariel, and even though we were told there was a zero chance of her Cinderella. Jasmine was MIA and as she's my daughters favorite we just had to find her elsewhere. But the atmosphere is cool and Princeses coming to your table is always a good thing.

The food isn't all that great in my opinion. Doesn't come close to say Crystal Palace at MK. But it's definitely a neat experience. Last month we saw 5 princesses, including Cinderella (Big surprise as I had read she rarely comes to breakfast) and you get the free pictures with Belle. You will have a blast!

We have always gone for dinner and was not too thrilled with the food. So this past August, we thought we'd try the breakfast. It wasn't great either, I suppose all breakfasts are similar in fashion, but I am not really a big fan of scrambled eggs. I was also looking forward to the potato casserole since a lot have said that it's a good change from the normal potatoes, but I wasn't thrilled with it either. I was disappointed with the breakfast. :sad2: I guess we don't really expect the food to be good when we go but it's my little girl's choice and she loves the princesses. She barely ate anything, but she did have lots of fruit from the buffet. I guess I felt that it was less value with the breakfast than with the dinner (although the dinner costs more).

However, I will say that the princess interaction is great. Each princess tries to spend some time with you and, in most cases, if your child is shy, they try to dance with them or speak to them about princesses and what they like. So, most of the princesses do try to engage and entertain.

Next time we are trying the lunch. I'm crossing my fingers because we really want to like the food.

However, I think everyone has different preference and it's always good to try and if you don't like it, you don't have to go back, but if you do, then you can add another restaurant to your list of must dos. At least that's how we feel when we try new restaurants. Sometimes we love it (like Teppan Edo) and other times we know we'll never be back (like Garden Grill:scared:).

We loved the Arkeshus Princess Story Book dining experience. We went for dinner not breakfast. The food was really really really good. ::yes:: The character interaction was fantastic. Each princess came by our table at least twice while we were there. We would definitely go back to this restaurant. It was excellent! ::yes::
