We are ariving in WDW on March 9th of 2008. On March 10th, it will be my DD 7th B-day and we would like to go to a character meal. We are staying at WH and really do not want to eat breakfast at a restaurant. We plan on going to Epcot on that day. Any recommendations on the lunch or dinner at Akershus? My kids are very picky eaters and as a matter of fact, so am I. Would this be a waste for us? Should we do dinner at some other restaurant in another park? Any help from more experienced Disers would be great. TIA

Lunch at Akershus was my favorite meal of our trip last year. They have perfectly "normal" foods available- especially on the kids menu.

Do you want to do the meal or just meet the characters. I know you can pay a minimum fee ($5 I think) if you want to visit with the characters at Liberty Tree and maybe order a dessert or something but not order a whole meal. You may want to call and see if that's a possibility.
