Akershus Princess For Arrival Night Dinner

We will be at Disney World 1/27 - 2/04. We are DW, DS(9), DDS(twins 6) and me. We arrive in Orlando at 5:10 pm. and I am thinking of surprising 1 of our girls with an arrival night Princess Dinner at Akershus as she is a huge Jasmine fan and Jasmine sometimes appears at this dinner. I have a couple of questions and would appreciate comments.

1. I wonder how late Akershus serves dinner and is the character interaction good at a later seating

2. Our flight arrives in Orlando at 5:10 pm and we will have Happy Limo for transportation, approximately what time should we arrive at Boardwalk Inn

3. What time should I request for a priority seating

4. We don't want to do too much the first night, how does this sound for an arrival night dinner. The other choice would be to eat at Boardwalk.

5. How is the menu and food at Akershus, we are not adventurous eaters, however, I think the menu was changed perhaps as recently as this month and I am not sure about the current choices or the appetizer buffet

i would think this is do-able... but are you sure you want to use a park pass just for dinner? (although the difference between a 9 and a 10 day ticket is almost nothing so i guess it's worth it)

i would make my ADR for the latest possible seating and arrive whenever you can (w/out having to sprint across the park!) and if you are early, see if they can squeeze you in...

also, from a parent of another major jasmine fan... she can often be found in morocco at epcot and near the magic carpet ride in magic kingdom... she was in MK all day this past monday
