Akershus Princess Dinner

We going to the Akershus Princess Character Dinner for my daughter's 7th Birthday on August 30th. Do you think it is one of the better places to celebrate a birthday?

Yes... if you like Norwegian food - this used to be one of my favorites before it became Character dining, understand the food is still great but I see the Princesses alot

Its a buffet meal, European, with people from some place other than here, and is in a cool pavillion, with perhaps the best ride in the WS and lots of Princesses. What could be better?

Is she going to be dressing up? It is mega cool to see all the princesses walking through EPCOT to their special Breakfast/Dinner

I haven't had dinner there, (but am trying it next month,) but I have had breakfast and lunch there.

I didn't really care for the food at lunch, but I wasn't feeling too great that day, so that could have had something to do with it. The food at breakfast was better, especially the potatoes, which were awesome.

I loved the princesses. At lunch, Ariel was the greeter, and I also saw Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, and Aurora. This was the only princess meal I've ever gone to where it was truly all princesses. At breakfast Belle was the greeter, in her ball gown, and I also saw Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, and Mulan, (who is not a princess.)

I've read reviews from people who have also seen all six princesses; Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel, and Belle, during one meal. I've also heard of Pocahontas, Alice, Esemeralda, and Mary Poppins appearing once in awhile.

Also, I ate there the day after my birthday on my last trip. (When I ate breakfast there.) And I was given a card signed by a bunch of the princesses and a birthday cookie. So be sure to mention there's a birthday on your ADR.
