Akershus on arrival day--do we have enough time?

Hi Guys,

So, I can't stop obsessing about our ADR's and whatnot. I just booked Akershus this morning as it's one of our coveted meals and could not get anything there until today. The issue is this--our flight arrives at 9:47 am, and our ressie is for 12:30. Is this even doable? I've heard it can take up to 90 minutes to get from MCO to the Polynesian, and since this is our first trip, I don't know if I'm being overly optimistic. We have 5-year old princess-obsessed twins, and all they want to do is eat w/the princesses. I don't want to even tell them about Akershus if there's a chance we can't make it.

Thoughts are greatly appreciated! I hope I posted this in the right place--didn't know if it should go here or on the "Strategies/Planning" board, my apologies if I did it incorrectly.

Thank you so much,
Karen

It might be possible, but you'd have to factor in flights arriving on time, getting off the plane, and then if you have a long line at Magical Express before you even get on a bus to the Polynesian.

And once you're at the Polynesian, you can walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center to get the direct monorail to Epcot (or take a taxi if you're cutting it close), but IMHO, that's way too much stress on arrival day to get to a dining reservation.
