i am contemplating keeping my dinner ressie which i currently have booked or making a 10:50 late breakfast on our epcot day

If we get at Epcot at rope drop have a bit of time to do a few rides, is it best to carry our girls costumes with us and change at the last minute? What is the easiest way to do a later brkfast at Epcot. I know in August will be too hot to wear from the time we enter park to 10:50. I would also like to do Biergarten for dinner which is why i may want to change the time.

Or is it all around easier to just keep my 5:15 dinner time so we could just go from our hotel to have dinner with the princesses and forget going to Biergarten. I dont have park hopper and dont wish to pay the extra for that option to go another day.
Any opinions on what is the easier thing to do??

We have done it both ways. Dressing just before we went to the restaurant in the park and wearing the costume to the park.

We have ducked into a bathroom as one of us went to check-in a few minutes early for ADRs. DD has also put her dress on over a light t-shirt so that it doesn't itch and we were just able to slide it over her head just before we walked into the restaurant. She can either take it off or wear it for a little bit after you leave the restaurant if you wish.

The only problem is if you don't want it to be wrinkled or get dirty. We carried ours in a backpack and it was just fine but I have seen moms carrying the dresses on hangers covered with plastic bags or garment bags. That would be a pain if you were going to keep it like that all day and carry it around before and after your reservation. Then I would highly suggest just going to the park in the costume and going right to your reservations before it gets too dirty.

Our dresses were play dresses we did not care about. It is all in what you are comfortable with. :)

Hope this helps some.

thanks! Yes maybe i will just dress my girls in something very light so the dresses can go over it & pack the dresses in a backpack if i decide to do the late breakfast.

We had a great time at our 10:30 breakfast. It was an early EMH day so we did get to ride some things (or got fastpasses). We treated it as "brunch" and then didn't eat lunch. I don't know how old your DDs are, but I just dressed my girls in cute custom princess t-shirts (a Minnie head with a crown and their name embroidered on it) and matching tiered "skorts" with sequins. I also bought tiaras in the dollar area of Target for them. The wore the outfits all day and loved being called "Princess" by the cast members. (They are 8 yrs. old.) It was very hot when we were there in May (record setting for May temps.) so I don't think they would have had fun in the costumes.

E-bay has LOTS of sellers doing custom items (new). There are also lots of cute princess sundresses there, but they were for younger girls. I also saw lots of moms carrying dresses into and out of the restroom. (There is one at the front of the restaurant.)

Hope you have a fun trip!

When we had an early lunch, My girls just wore tank tops and "bike-type" shorts to the park that day. Right before we went in for lunch, we sat on the benches across from the lake and threw their dresses on. I brought them in a compressed gallon ziplock.

thanks so much! I do have a custom made dress which i actually bought last summer for the girls with cinderella & prince charming, really cute but it seems that would probably fit in better with the 1900 Park Fare.
so maybe i will just have them wear that or i will just use a space bag as that may help compact it a bit to carry around.
