Akershus Dinner??

I've seen a lot about breakfast, but what can you tell me about Akershus dinner? Reviews/pictures/worth it?

NOTE: For food, alone, Akershus is grossly overpriced. However, as with most character
meals, you are paying for the characters, and possibly atmosphere, but not solely for the
food. The food is tasty, good, and above average. Thankfully, one goes for characters, and
food is a bonus.
BREAKFAST: There is a pastry buffet, a cold buffet, and the hot food. It's filling, but
nothing to write home about.
LUNCH & DINNER: Scandinavian seafood, cheese, sliced meats, fruits, and several entrées.
Food at all meals is ample and tasty, but quality only average. The princess interaction is
typically a lot better than it is at the Castle. We prefer dinner-time over lunch.

The food was decent IMO. I liked the little buffet of appetizers, and that worked out well since my DD was enthralled with the fruit as a starter. I had the mushroom stuffed pasta dish (possibly off the menu now, it depends on which site I look at) and I really enjoyed it. Kids had salmon and DH ate some kind of meat, can't remember.

After our slightly awkward meeting with Belle, the more in-depth interaction with the other princesses was excellent, probably even better than CRT. Snow White was really on the ball, as my DH had left the camera cover on and she was completely in character and pointed it out nicely. Really, she saved our marriage, lol.

We paid OOP but I do think that Akershus is amazing value for one credit TS (vs. 2 TS credits at CRT where we also paid OOP).

The food is okay. Really. Nothing to write home about. The characters though are amazing. My (then 2 yo) kiddo sobbed her heart out after dinner before bed because she so desperately wanted to go back to see the princesses again THE VERY NEXT morning. Luckily a great CM helped and I was able to switch things last minute.

It was pure magic. Every meal the food is fairly mediocre, but the characters make the event amazing.
