I am trying to figure out the price for Akershus Breaksfast. I have looked at allears website (A: 39.40 & C: 23.42) which is dated 6/10 & disboards (AL35.99 & C: 15.99) which is dated 2/11. I even looked at disney website (15-35). Who have been there lately & can tell me the price that they paid for breaksfast. Thanks in advance.

For me, if estimating out of pocket costs, I take the higher of the two. If estimating DDP savings, I take the lower of the two.* Neither site is particularly good about this, nor are they consistent with marking updates (if they update part of one, they tend to flag the whole restaurant as updated). Lastly, and what really drives me nuts, is there's no separation between standard and holiday pricing and minimal notation when/if the quoted price includes Tax.

Not that this little mini-rant helps you at all :(, but at least it gives you a strategy if no one responds with the actual prices.

*Doing it this way essentially allows the planning of the "worst case", as paying the highest OOP or saving the least on DDP isn't the best case. If you spend less, or save more, that's a much better outcome than the reverse.

Here is my thread from first week of January in which I called Disney Dining for prices:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2627843

Breakfast during peak season is $39.40/adult plus tip. For non peak season (see the dates listed in my thread), it is approx. $4.00 plus tax less than listed price.

Hope this helps, Tiger :)

Thank you; trying to decide about OOP or DDP

Thanks for this. I just made dinner ressies at Akershus and trying to figure out how much it'll be. I figure it will be worth it to get to see the princesses. We are only there for one day and it beats standing in line.
