Their menu doesn't seem very extensive for a buffet, my kids aren't big egg eaters, and my oldest has nut allergies which means most bakery items are off limits. Would this be a good meal for us? are there mickey waffles? we are a party of 11, 2 2year olds that would probably enjoy the princesses, a little guy under 1, and my oldest who is 12. Thoughts? is lunch or dinner any better? thanks!

It is not a buffet. They serve a platter of all you care to enjoy items to the table and there is a cold buffet of pastries, fruit, meat and cheese

The person above is correct, the buffet is for the pastries and a few other things like fruit and various fish and cheese. A platter of breakfast is brought to the table. If I remember correctly it had eggs, bacon, sausage, and a cheesy potato casserole type thing that was very good. I do not remember if there were Mickey waffles. We really enjoyed the breakfast when we went in Oct 2015 and I am planning to schedule again for our upcoming trip. The food was delicious. The character interaction was great. The princesses lead the children in a procession around the restaurant which was really cute. It is a great place to meet a lot of princesses at once and costs less than eating in Cinderella's castle.

The Akershus breakfast was one of the favorite meals on my last trip. We had two adults and three kids aged 5-9. The kids liked a lot of the stuff on the buffet - pastries, croissants, mini bagels, mini muffins, fruit and cheese. I loved the more exotic cheeses and the yogurt and the lox. Everything on the breakfast platter was very good. We asked for more bacon and got a big plate delivered, no extra charge.

Lunch and dinner have an appetizer buffet and order from the menu for entree.

Check out the lunch and dinner menu online.

We really love both the breakfast and lunch/ dinner. Princesses are same.

On DP price is the same -1 credit.

You will be happy whichever meal you choose. Personally we pick the meal there that fits better with our overall plan.

Food wise, we had one really great experience (2013, when you still got actual pictures here and at CRT) and one OK experience (2016). IMHO, it is the best place to see the princess altogether if you are not doing CRT. It is one of the more expensive 1 credit meals for us, especially for a breakfast, so I would say it is a very good value on DDP.

It's a good value on the DDP.

We had breakfast last summer and are returning again this trip. The food and princess interaction were pretty good. We had a really fantastic Snow White!
