We have a breakfast ADR at Akershus for our upcoming trip that I was actually considering dropping for Garden Grill, until the announcement that the A&E meet and greet would be opening at 9 with the rest of the park. So I figure I should probably keep that PPO breakfast, haha!

We have never had breakfast here, so just wondering how the food is. I have read some reviews, but not too recently. I do see that lots of people like the potatos and the pastries. I'm interested in seeing what anyone thinks of the cold buffet, especially the fish and cheeses? Any food pictures would be great too.

Thanks!

It's a little dated, but here is my dining report from last year on it. The potatoes were definitely the star of the show, but the rest was nothing special.

Thanks for that link! I have read one or two of your more recent reports and I always enjoy them. Your daughter is so cute! I'm sorry that it wasn't a great meal for y'all. That is kind of what I'm worried about, if it will be enough good food to fill us up. I do hear great things about the potatoes, and I'm glad to hear you liked the fish. The girls enjoyed the interaction with the princesses at our lunch so hopefully that will still be good.

I'm planning on trying to snag a PPO ADR here one day as well. How long would it take for us to eat and see all the princesses here typically? I'm really only going to do this ADR to get early access to the park and get in line early for A&E. But, I know if we are at a princess meal my daughter will want to see all the princesses. Is it doable to be in and out in under an hour?

Our last visit to DW was in 2014. We ate here for breakfast, I believe a PPO at 8am. If you are lucky enough to have the princesses hit your tables right away, I think you could get out in an hour. However, after three times eating at this restaurant, we generally don't get out that quickly. I often plan an hour and a half, especially with my slow-eating princess! LOL
