This is our first time with the dining plan and we have the quick service promotion for March 2012.

We want to book breakfast and wondered how it works with the plan?

Or would we have to pay for it out of pocket?

Akershus is a table service restaurant. You cannot use quick service credits to eat at a table service restaurant. So if you are on the quick service plan you will need to pay OOP to eat at Akershus.

If you are wanting to do multiple table service meals and there are still open reservations available for when you want to go then perhaps you should consider upgrading to the Regular Dining Plan (1 snack, 1 QS and 1 TS per day). If you only want to do a few TS meals during your stay then just pay OOP.

that is what we did. we like the value resorts cause we only sleep there, and we wanted table service dining i think it is $11 more per day for each adult and $6 per child per day to upgrade. So for us it was a no brainer :D

That's last year's price, this year it's higher by about $5 per adult per night (DDP costs are per night, not per day). But it's not that high for children. last year the upgrade cost for them was $1-2 per night and now it's $3-4.
