Akershus and Egg allergy

Would prefer to go to breakfast at Akershus since it costs less. DD 4 has an egg allergy, but can have egg in baked goods. However, not in pancakes, waffles. I noticed that their breakfast menu is really limited. Eggs, meats, potatoes. Has anyone been to the breakfast with an egg allergy and how was it accommodated? Also, do they have fruit at the breakfast at least? Thanks!

I have not been to Akershus when my DGD had her allergy to dairy and egg, but I can say that Disney does have alternative pancakes and waffles to accomodate that food allergy.

I suggest you ask on the DISabilities Forum. Those folks are up to date on most of the restaurants and how they handle food allergies, but in my experience, your child will hve enought ot pick from.

While we don't have an allergy in our family, I was at Akershus breakfast in July and there are plenty of food options.

They will bring a hot plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes to the table (you can ask for the eggs to be served separately if there are cross-contamination issues). Then the side board buffet has yogurt, fruit, cold meats and cheeses, croissants, bagels, donut holes, and other breads/pastries.
