AK to TL

If we go to AK in the morning & want to go to TL in the pm should we take a bus to AKL & then get a bus to TL? Is this the fastest way? or will the water park already be at capacity in August.

That is the fastest way.

About capacity, both TL and BB have closed down due to capacity but only for a few hours at a time. They may close at 11 but reopen at 2 or 3pm.
