AK to MGM

I know this is a stupid question but I have never park hopped except from MK to Epcot. We want to spend about 6 hours at AK and then go to MGM in the late afternoon. Is there a bus that goes from one park to another or do we have to go back to the main transportation center and then take another bus? Also about how long will ths take us?

It's been three years since I was at WDW, but I seem to remember buses running park-to-park. I know there are no resort-to-resort buses, and I may be mistaken on the park-to-park buses or things may have changed.

You probably wouldn't need to go to the TTC to transfer. Take a bus to one of the resorts en route between AK and MGM and transfer there -- Coronado or AKL, take the MGM bus; any of the Epcot resorts, take the boat or walk.

There are park-to-park busses during park operating hours. After hours, you may need to connect through DTD.
