Ak To Mgm

We're planning to go to AK in the morning and later go on to the Fantasmic Dinner show at MGM at 4:30. Might go back to the hotel (Poly) in between, but if we run out of time, and if it saves time, might go directly from AK to MGM. We won't have a car, so will use Disney transportation.

So I plug into the Dis site that we want to get from AK to MGM and it says that it'll take 1-2 Hrs using Disney transportation! (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tran...+Kingdom&end=Disney-MGM+Studios&submit=Submit)

Is it really that long/What should we do? Go back to hotel? Go to TTC? Get off someplace and walk?

Buses run about every 15 minutes, and it's less than a 15 minute ride.

That calculator is WAY off, and very outdated. I would not rely on it to provide accurate routing information.

From AK to MGM all you need to do is get on the Swan/Dolphin bus from AK. Once there, walk through the hotel out the back to the friendship boat shuttle located between the two resorts. MGM is the first stop from the Swan/Dolphin dock.
