AK Timing Help Please!

This is our first time experiencing AK and I've tried to figure out a good plan to see the park by mid- afternoon.

I was able to get a FP for FoP and this has changed our original plans.

December 8th....crowds should be manageable (not sure of level though). 9am opening. 3 generations, 6 in total.

RD - be there early so we can get to Na'vi

Ride Na'vi standby
Kilimanjaro safaris with FP 9:20 - 10:20
Lion King show 10am (maybe...not sure if I can convince the kids)
EE with FP 10:20 - 11:20
Kali if the kids want to do it and it's warm enough (or before EE if all our timing works out and we don't see LK)
DINOSAUR
Primeval Whirl (maybe and also Triceratop Spin)
LUNCH (undecided but probably somewhere on Discovery Island). Take some time to rest...
FoP with FP 2:25 - 3:25

I doubt you'll make that 10 a.m. Lion King, so you probably won't have to convince the kids. That will leave you with time (maybe) for Kali before your EE. After EE, you might have time to see Nemo, which will be on that side of the park. Depending on why you need to convince the kids about LK, Nemo might be an easier sell.

Ok good to know...thanks! The kids aren't really into LK anymore. I think they'd rather do another safari tour realistically. I know my mom and I won't do Kali but I'm sure my dad and hubby would...and the kids would probably love it.

Festival of the Lion King is the best show on disney property and really shouldn't be missed whether you're into the Lion King or not. You won't make the 10:00 show, but I really encourage you to work it into your schedule if at all possible.

I would redo as follows: Get there at least 45-60 minutes prior to park opening. They will most likely open Avatar early...

Lion King show 11am (line up 10:30)

FP Primeval Whirl (maybe and also Triceratop Spin) (you didn't need a FP for EE) Dinoland should be done by 10a to avoid long lines. Skip TSS if line (just dumbo/aladdin reimagined)

That's exactly what prompted our change of plans! I was following his prior touring plans for EE after RDing Pandora and then KS in the afternoon and I was able to get FoP fp today. I likely won't ride it (my mom either) so it's for everyone else in the party. It looks like it was EMH at AK but he didn't state it (or the park opened early...does that happen?) I have no interest in getting to the park 90 min before opening but 30 min (or 45) for Na'vi seemed do-able.

Wasn't EMH, park opens early, Pandora being first of the early opening.
