AK Strategy

We will be at AK on 3/21 with EMH at 8a that day. My tentative plan is:

8a - Everest
8:45a - Everest again
9:30a - Tusker House breakfast reservation
10:40-11:40a - Safari FP
11:45-12:45 - Everest FP
12:45p - Finding Nemo???? Primeval Whirl????
1:55-2:55p Navi River Journey
3:00p - It's Tough to be a bug
4:15p Yak and Yeti reservation
5:15p - Back to the hotel -- we have an early start the next day with the Fantasyland early morning event.

A couple of notes: We have FP for FOP and Dinosaur the other day we are at AK.

I'm stuck on It's Tough to be a bug and Finding Nemo and if these make sense where I have them. We'd also like to do Festival of the Lion King but could do this the other day we are at AK.

Any suggestions would be welcome...except lowering our Everest choices. We love that ride!!!

Most blogs or guides will tell you Safari is best done as the first or last ride of the day.

not because of lines, but because the animals are the most active then.

That would require changing Everest....

Do you have a FP for Navi? You will probably be able to get in more rides on EE before your breakfast ADR at 9:30. We did 5 rides during EMH last year before I needed a break!!

Ah, wasn't sure if that was a fastpass or just a "I would like to do that".

your safari plan isn't too late, but you still probably won't see as much. Not as bad as mid afternoon though

We did it that same time slot last March and it was fine, so I'm not worried about that one. We would rather spend our time on Everest than get a great Safari time too...

We're the same. We've always done the Safari in the afternoon. I can't compare to other times obviously but we've always seen lots of active animals and never been disappointed!
