AK restaurant?

nee da resturant near AK - I have done Boma and did not like it, currently have ADR's for Tusker house, but reviews seem kinda bad?

What about the Rainforest Cafe, Yak & Yeti, or have you tried Jiko at the lodge? We always do the Rainforest Cafe, kind of tradition, never tried Yak & Yeti but will in September and our family did Jiko which gets good reviews but we didn't care for it. Everyone has their own experiences so go ahead and give it a try. We did Boma for breakfast and liked that better than the dinner.

We loved Tusker House for breakfast! Not sure about the other meals however.

We ate lunch at the Tusker House buffet in February and it was really good! They had a nice variety and something to please everyone in our family - even my picky six year old. I wouldn't necessarily go strictly by reviews that you read, it's best to form your own opinion. I would stick with what you've got!

Can I ask why you didn't like Boma? If it's because of the African inspiration of the food, you may find that Tusker house is equally unappealing. On my trip this past April, DW didn't like either, specifically because of the type of food. I enjoyed both, but Boma was far better overall.

Rainforest Cafe gets mixed reviews at best, and personally I'd stay away from it. (Although that is based upon many years old experiences, so take it with a grain of salt)

You might consider Yak & Yeti, but like most things, the reviews are mixed. I can't personally comment on the sit-down portion, but the quick service was fair to average.

We had lunch at Tusker house and it was great. No complaints from any of our picky eaters and we had 8 teenage girl scouts who are normally very picky!!!
