Is Rainforest Cafe at AK open for dinner after/at park closing?
If so, do the buses continue to run or would we need to call a taxi to get us back to Swan/Dolphin?

We had no problem last November we got out about 8 and had bus service back to DTD normally we eat at the Rain Forest in DTD but my brother in law thought he going to starve to death so ate at AK one

I was there as the park was closing. They assured me that a bus would be available to get me back to AKV-Kidani whenever I was ready to go. I prefer the Rainforest Cafe at AK because it's easier to get reservations and I think that you get more personal attention. I was dining solo and my waitress was wonderful. She even sat down to chat for 2 minutes when she was caught up with her other tables near the end of my dinner.

Almost had one small issue though. I left my room and went to the bus stop to go to AK for dinner and it was just after closing time at the park. The bus driver insisted that I shouldn't need a ride to AK since it was closed. I assured him that I had reservations for dinner and I don't think that he believed me. I was the only one on the bus and he dropped me off and left AK without picking up another load. Maybe he thought he was off-duty until I showed up needing a ride.

When I left after dinner, I walked out toward the bus stop and all of the buses were lined up at the curb. One driver was directing traffic toward the correct buses since they were combining resorts for the return trips. I was the first stop and the rest were going to CSR and AS resorts.
