AK PPO Tusker House - park entry

Greetings,
We have a group of us with an ADR at Tusker House next week, 8:00am. (9:00am open) I have read that we can get into AK about 7:30am via the left side entry points. Is this true? Also, there are 12 of us on one reservation under my name. If I check in with my Magic Band then is someone counting all 12 of us as we pass thru? How do they know who belongs with me?

YMMV but in my experience, it's more like 7:45AMish. Yes, PPO ADR entrance is usually on the left side of the entry gates. There will be a CM with a clipboard with names checking that you have a PPO ADR. I don't know if they have a list of all guests under a reservation or just the reservation holder name and count - not sure about that part.

IIRC, they scan or check off based on who is the contact person for the ADR. They then confirm the count with you and I assume they make sure you only have the number of people that are on the reservation. We are usually a party of 3 so it is an easy count, but AFAIR they don't check each individual.
