I was reading in a guide book that the AK parking lot doesn't open until 15 minutes before the park does. Has anyone experienced this? If if so we'll definitely take the bus that day!

If you have something really important at Animal Kingdom (such as Backstage Safari) to get to early in the morning then use the bus.
