AK parade and river of light

Hi-
Need to schedule my FP and ADR for August soon. Can someone tell me when the parade would take place (it says dark, but in August when would that be? Also the new river of light - should I look for that in FP? I read it would be more than one time of day- does anyone have a general idea of time of day ( just to schedule dinner)

You cannot schedule your FP+ until June. Sunset in August will likely be around 7:30-8:00 ish. You can look it up online on any of the almanac sites. There are no times known yet at all for the Rivers of Light. They won't be released until shortly before the ride opens, likely around April. Your best bet is just to schedule a 5-6:00 supper ADR. Also, there is no parade at AK. I can only assume you mean the Sunset Safari, which is a ride.

On the WDW operating hours for AK for August 2016, it says Parade - dark
Is that just old & they haven't taken it off, or is there a new parade coming for August 2016?

dark is old-school showspeak for not running...no parade at animal kingdom for a year or two now and don't expect one any time soon
