AK Pandora in Late July

Hi folks!
Trip planned for July 23-Aug1. AK closes at 7pm each night. Park hours were recently updated to open earlier, but not closing later. Am I correct in thinking it'll still be daylight at that point, so no chance to see Pandora lit up? Sunset in Orlando appears to be 8:20-8:15pm during that span. Generally speaking, I love the later summer hours, but we do also love seeing Pandora at night. Anyone there now (mid-July) who can comment on whether they even do the night-lighting in Pandora near closing time?

I think you're right. It's still way too light at 7p right now to to even enjoy it if they turned anything on. It's 100% lame that AK isn't open later anymore. I'm assuming it's CM staffing and money.....but still lame nonetheless. I'll be there just after you but skipping AK this time.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe getting in line for Flights of Passage just before closing will be a long enough line that by the time we are done it'll be dark out. I probably won't bother, but my DD and her BF (who loves Avatar) might want to try this. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Yes that's right you won't be able to see Pandora at night during the summer given those early closing times and the late sunset (I found this out last month when I was there and realized it would close before dark).
