AK - Pandora -does FOP close early?

I read some reports that they close the line early and saw others that they stopped doing that. With a new ride, I'm sure things change and even from a post a few months ago, I don't know what is accurate. Is it possible to jump in line about 15 minutes before close and wait out the 2+ hours in standby post closure?

They were closing the line last summer when it first opened and they had late EMH. They had to close the line to get off-site guests through the line.

There are no late EMH at AK anymore, so they no longer close the line until closing. You can do what you want to do, but you'll be pleasantly surprised that the wait will not be 2 hours. Once the last FP group is through, the line will move more quickly without them taking precedence.

Keep in mind that the posted wait times are intentionally exaggerated at night to discourage late riders. If the posted time is 2 hours, the actual wait may be only 30-40 minutes.

There have been several recent reports of 30 minute waits for FoP late in the evening.
