AK or MK on July 4th?

Help!!! We have a small vacation July 4th weekend and have 2 days for WDW. We have never been during holiday times so I am not sure which park to go to. Got myself a real dilemma here. We have tickets for the 3rd and the 4th. With Pandora being the star, is AK still a good choice for the 4th? I was worried that MK would be too crowded.

Even with the opening of Pandora, I would expect that MK would still be more crowded on 7/4. The allure of MK on 7/4 is the special fireworks. What are your priorities for those 2 days?

I would expect MK to be crowded a lot more than AK on the 4th. It is a holiday so crowds resort wide will be heavier than normal. Good Luck in your decision.

I don't think it really matters because MK does their special fireworks on both the 3rd and 4th. For what it's worth, we'll be in MK on the 3rd this year and nowhere on the 4th until Epcot for dinner.

Thanks all. I thought MK would be the busier park. I guess we will stick with MK on the 3rd.

AK was deserted last 4th of July. While I am sure it will be busier this year, I would be willing to bet MK will be worse because it still does not have fireworks.
